March 1991: founding of CMI by Pascal Defoor and Rafael Marin
CMI started their activities with the focus on HVAC validation services such as cleanroom validation and testing of Microbiological Safety Cabinets and Laminar Airflow Benches. With the growth of the activities, a Temperature department was established for the verification of Ovens, Incubators, Autoclaves and Sterilisation Tunnels. With the growing demand in the Pharmaceutical industry, CMI invested further to keep up with its major clients by opening a new calibration lab. At first the lab was mainly used for the verification and calibration of the sensors used by CMI in order to assure reliable and accurate results with the equipment used during the qualifications. Nowadays the lab activities are concentrated to calibrate GMP critical quality control instruments for our large pharmaceutical customers like photometers, particle counters, RHT probes and differential pressure sensors used in monitoring systems and environmental monitoring programs.
